As a certified B Corp, Tidal Enterprises Ltd, we are dedicated to operating as a responsible warehousing and fulfilment company, committed to both social and environmental responsibility. Our mission is to conserve the environment and make a positive impact by reducing waste sent to landfills through using recycled packaging and upcycled products.

We strive to uphold the highest standards of sustainability in all aspects of our operations, from sourcing materials to managing waste. Through our commitment to environmental responsibility, we aim to minimise our carbon footprint, protect natural resources, and promote a healthier planet for future generations.

At Tidal, we are committed to fostering a sustainable future through responsible operations at our Warehouse and Fulfilment Centre. Our dedication to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our business, ensuring we minimize our environmental impact while maximising efficiency and innovation.

Our sustainability practices.

Energy Efficiency and Renewable Resources

We have implemented energy management systems to reduce our carbon footprint. Our facilities are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting and we have invested in renewable energy sources such as solar panels, to power our operations sustainably. Our equipment, such as forklifts, are powered by electricity generated from these renewable sources.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

We prioritise waste reduction through recycling programs and waste management practices. By implementing a comprehensive recycling program, we ensure that materials such as carboard and any plastics are properly recycled. We also work to minimise waste generation by optimising packaging processes and encouraging the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials. Where possible we encourage the reuse of cardboard boxes and void fill materials.

Sustainable Sourcing and Supply Chain Practices

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our facilities. We collaborate with suppliers who share our values, prioritising sustainable sourcing and ethical practices. By fostering transparent and responsible supply chains, we ensure that our products and services are both environmentally friendly and socially responsible. The majority of our packaging materials are paper based and we have made a pledge to eliminate the use of single use plastics. Where possible we purchase cardboard packaging which is constituted of recycled material and FSC approved origin.

Sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to continuous improvement. We regularly evaluate our practices and seek innovative solutions to enhance our sustainability efforts.
